Auberge Vancouver Hotel Photography

We're excited to be part of the launch of Auberge Vancouver Hotel. It's perfectly located in the Terminal City Tower overlooking the waterfront with North Shore Mountain views! We spent several days photographing guest rooms, fitness and pool facilities, lobby, and architectural exteriors of this Sterling Hotel in downtown Vancouver. 

Ki Modern Japanese Calgary

A while back we had a wonderful time photographing architectural images, food and lifestyle images for Ki Japanese in Vancouver. We were honoured when we were asked to fly to Calgary and do the same for the Ki Restaurant there. The beautiful interior design of the space made the architectural images of the restaurant a joy. The staff were friendly and helpful and made for a great atmosphere as we photographed lifestyle imagery.

Behind The Scenes at The Keg Steakhouse Photoshoot

We recently had the great privilege to spend a week in Toronto photographing lifestyle, architectural and food imagery for the amazing people at The Keg Steakhouse. It was hectic week but with the assistance of a great crew of people from KBS+P, The Keg, Food Stylist Heather Shaw, Hair and Makeup Stylist Vicki Millar, Assistants Christin Buijs, Peter Olson and PA Deanna Flinn, the week was huge success! Ki Restaurant Vancouver

It has been a busy month with a great mix of food and architectural photography. We recently had the privilege to photograph the new Ki Restaurant at the Shangri-La Vancouver Hotel. The highlight of the shoot was working with renowned raw bar chef Yoshi Tabo. It was a joy to watch the preparation and the plates he created were stunning! Stay tuned for the finished images!

We had another great interior design photo shoot with the very talented Karin Bohne of Moeski Consulting Inc. Karin managed a great mix of modern and heritage with clean lined furniture against exposed original brick walls for this Fresh Bowl restaurant. Shangri-La Vancouver

We had the great opportunity to head back to The Shangri-La Vancouver and photograph some more of the hotel's spaces! There were stunning compositions everywhere we pointed the camera in the stunning interior of this luxury hotel!

We've been working with Karin and Brett over at Moeski Consulting documenting with photography and video their upcoming opening of a Fresh Bowl restaurant in Vancouver's historic Gastown. Take a look and see the design issues they run into and what they do to work through it!

Gotham Steakhouse

We recently finished up another great restaurant photography project at Gotham Steakhouse. Under the art direction of Lynne Davis of Toronto agency Baby Robot we capture food, interiors and lifestyle photos over three days. Gotham's new website looks great featuring our images!

Araxi Restaurant Whistler

Just before the holidays we had the pleasure of photographing the updated interior of Araxi Restaurant in Whistler. I have photographed Araxi many times over the past five years and it is wonderful to see the constant changes and improvements. I guess that's why the restaurant is constantly winning awards for top restaurant in Whistler!

The Shore Club Ottawa

We recently had the privilege of shooting a brand new Shore Club Restaurant in Canada's capital, Ottawa! Arriving a few days before the grand opening, the excitement of everyone involved was quite apparent. Under the art direction of Lynne Davis of Baby Robot and shooting in amongst the buzz of activity, we captured the art deco inspired interior.

It has been a busy month working on photography projects for The Shore Club Restaurant. Working with Art Director Lynne Davis of BabyRobot we photographed food, space and lifestyle imagery in Vancouver and the new location in Ottawa. An exciting addition to this project was our first foray into video! The videos and still images from the Vancouver restaurant may be viewed on The Shore Club's stunning new website HERE. Shooting in Shangri-La

We were exceptionally lucky last week to photograph at Market by Jean G-Georges at The Shangri-La Hotel Vancouver. The patio is a stunning oasis in the middle of a hectic downtown!

Here's a behind the scenes shot of the models as they walked for the 100th time towards the entrance. So many great angles to shoot from, hopefully we'll be back to capture them all!

Drinks (and photography) at Fairmont Chateau Whistler

I had the great opportunity to photograph some images for The Fairmont Chateau Whistler last week. It was one of those shoots where everything went perfectly smooth. No lighting glitches, talent was a natural, and a happy client!
